    In this HyCool course module about Fresnel Solar Collectors, we present you this innovative Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) technology via a collection of links to external sources (web pages, online videos, etc.) and give you detailed information on the Fresnel Collectors that have been installed at the two industrial solar heating and cooling demo system sites at the companies Bo De Debò and Givaudan near Barcelona in Spain in 2020/2021.

      Givaudan is the pilot site for the chemical industry case in HyCool. The thermal demand for the installation is around 125.5 kW. The picture below shows a schematic view of the Fresnel Solar Collector field including some key values.

      Welcome to our quiz about CSP collectors with focus on Fresnel Solar Collector Technology. This quiz requires a subscription (free user account) to the e-Learning platform www.waermepumpe-weiterbildung.at and full access to this course.

      Instructions:

      • Most questions are single-choice, but one question is multiple-choice. 
      • There are four to five possible answers per question. 
      • With the single-choice questions, only one answer is correct.
      • The multiple-choice question counts with more than one correct answer - obviously ;-) 
      • No points are deducted for incorrectly answered questions.  
      • All questions are evenly scored with one point per correctly answered question.
      • You can get immediate feedback on whether your anser is correct or not by clicking on the "Check" button.
      • To proceed from one question to the next, click on the "Next page" button.  
      • The time is limited to ten minutes, after which time the quiz is closed and scored automatically.
      • After finishing, click on the "Finish attempt ..."-button and then on the "Submit all and finish" button. 
      • Then, you get a review of all questions including the right answers as well as your Grade and Feedback. 
      • Don't worry, if your Grade is not the best. You can try the quiz as often as you want and improve from try to try.
